What better way to admire the lake if not from the old paths in the nature that surround it? Get a non-typical view of Lake Maggiore from north to south. The hike is always worth the view!

PROGRAMME:

DAY 1:

Arrival and check in at the hotel. Dinner in a restaurant in Stresa.

DAY 2:

Leave Stresa in the morning and follow the Chestnut Trail to Belgirate. Many beautiful view spots will show you the lake from different angles, one after the other. While walking on this beautiful path in the nature you will see some small villages, fields and churches that recall the past. Once you reach Belgirate you will admire its beautiful church and old town square.

Here a private boat will take you to the Borromean Islands, possibility to stop on Isola Pescatori or Isola Bella before going back to Stresa.

DAY 3:

After breakfast at the hotel transfer with your own vehicle to Cannero. Here start a beautiful trail that leads to Cannobio, across woods with panoramic terraces over the northern part of Lake Maggiore.
Once in Cannobio stroll around its amazing medieval streets and lakeside before your returning to Cannero by boat.
