BITEG 2015 returns this year to the region of Piedmont. The 16th edition of the international event will be held from the 23rd to the 26th of October at the Regina Palace Hotel in Stresa on Lake Maggiore. It's a three-day workshop between Italian sellers and national and international buyers.
The tourism industry produces a large portion Italy's national income and culinary tourism is worth 30% of it. Two out of three tourists name food as one of the most important reasons to visit the country and it is, together with art and fashion, the pride of the "Made in Italy" brand. With thousands of typical products and some of the finest wines in the world, Italy is the cradle of the culinary tourism market. The sector is in a phase of fast growth and is sensitive to new ideas, offering great opportunities to young entrepreneurs.
The event is organised in collaboration with the Tourism District of the Lakes and Mountains of Ossola, TTG Italia and the Insitute Erminio Maggia in Stresa and the students of the course Tecnico Turistico which will welcome the participants and update the social media in connection to the event.
